The Witch Wound

Some of us may still carry this wounding from long ago.

The witch wound is an energetic wounding in the psyche of women and other beings who feel the pull back to their magick and then inner resistance.

Sometimes this inner resistance can be an intense gripping fear. This is the energy of the witch wound. A literal fear of death if one shows up fully in one’s power.

Many moons ago women and others were hunted down, awful things were done to them and millions were killed, all for being labeled “witches”.

This wounding runs so deep that many of us still feel the pull to keep our magick hidden to this day. Many of us feel it is still not safe to be fully expressed in our power as witches, women and spiritual beings who deal intimately with Source in this way.

So how do we deal with this witch wound?

Well sure, we can cast shields, we can energetically brace ourselves to be judged, labeled, misunderstood, or…

we can show up in our softness. Knowing that what others perceive is not our reality. Letting the perceptions of others be theirs and letting our magick shine through despite misunderstanding.

The witch wound has kept me quiet for too long. It’s time to show up in my fullness. In my sweet and subtle power.

“Don’t be mistaken, it’s time to show up and be bold” ~Aiza

Like the famous Marianne Williamson quote says, when we each shine our light, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. In being liberated, we help to liberate others.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?'

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Being a witch is not about exclusion but inclusion if you ask me. I include this experience of the witch wound and shine the light of consciousness on the wounding in me for it to be healed. I wish the same for you.

I wish you healing.

I wish you the strength and courage to

show up in your own fullness,

in your own power,

with your own unique magick.

What will you create with your unique brand of magick?
