HAPPY MAIL 2.0
Art. Paper. Play.
More Mud Lotus Arts.
Happy Mail is entering a new chapter in 2027.
After a year and a half of creating these tiny monthly worlds, I’ve figured out what I love most—and I’m bringing more of that into every envelope.
The heart of Happy Mail isn’t changing: a monthly invitation to slow down, make something, notice your life, and play with beautiful paper things.
What is changing is how much of that little world is created right here in the Mud Lotus Arts studio.
WHAT’S INSIDE
Each month’s Happy Mail will be built around a new creative world and include:
6 - 8 Collage Papers
An assortment of papers, textures, patterns and handmade elements, including a washi sticker sheet each month.
10 - 15 Stickers
A playful mix of hand-drawn, digitally created, AI-assisted and hand-stamped designs made and assembled in the Mud Lotus Arts studio. Expect matte, clear, washi and other textures as I experiment!
4–5 pieces of ephemera
Handmade and studio-created tags, papers, stamped pieces and other tiny treasures for journaling and collage.
An original Mud Lotus Arts art print
This part isn’t going anywhere. ♡
One surprise bonus item
One little wildcard chosen to help build that month’s world. You may see a vinyl sticker, tiny notepad, tea, candle, washi, writing tool, stamp or something I haven’t dreamed up yet.
+ fun packaging and a note from me, because opening the envelope is part of the experience.
AND THE HAPPY MAIL VAULT
The physical envelope is only the beginning.
Each month, the Happy Mail Vault will continue to fill with bonus material to help you explore the theme—and in 2027, I’m planning to add more downloadable goodies, too.
Think printable stickers + ephemera, printable collage papers, creative prompts, behind-the-scenes peeks and other little invitations to keep playing with the month's world at home.
Print a sticker sheet onto sticker paper and make your own stickers—or print it on regular paper and chop it up for collage. No rules here!
THE HEART OF HAPPY MAIL 2.0
Less sourced.
More studio-made.
More art project.
More tiny world.
Not every molecule inside your envelope will have been handcrafted by me, but I'm intentionally moving toward a Happy Mail that feels increasingly original, artist-made and unmistakably Mud Lotus Arts.
Most importantly, I’m building it in a way that can grow without losing the joy of making it.
Thank you for being part of this weird little mail experiment as it continues to become more and more itself.
Here’s to Happy Mail 2.0!! 💌
