“Kitchen Witch”
Theme reveal:
“Kitchen Witch”
Something is simmering on the stove in a cozy kitchen within a house that has seen some things. Overhead hang bundles of rosemary, lavender, mugwort and sage. Kitchen Witch is all about the art of calling our power back and savoring Life’s everyday magic. A present cup of something warm, words (spells) written down, and cooking up something marvelous, in a literal and also in a soulful way.
Bonus Prompts
Take Stock: Before winter asks the world to become quieter, look back over the year so far. What grew? What surprised you? What exhausted you? Where did you thrive? What became more true?
What Goes Into the Fire? What are you finished carrying into the next seasons? Remember that you don't have to transform it, understand it, forgive it, or make it beautiful. There is power in simply naming what is ready to be be set down.
Stock the Pantry: Winter is on its way eventually. Metaphorically or literally, what do you want to have stored away for yourself? What people, practices, pleasures, resources, boundaries, memories, or comforts help to sustain you when life becomes cold?
A Recipe for Now: If you could write a recipe for what you need in this particular season of your life, what would the ingredients be? Add impossible ingredients if necessary: three uninterrupted mornings, a handful of courage, rain against the windows, twelve hours of sleep, one excellent sandwich, a teaspoon of audacity.
